ReunionFamilyCloud is a web hosting service provided by Leister Productions, Inc. for users of the Reunion for Macintosh app.

The hosting services provided by ReunionFamilyCloud are strictly for publishing genealogical web pages, charts and reports generated and uploaded by the Reunion for Macintosh app.

By using ReunionFamilyCloud’s hosting services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

You agree to provide current and accurate information about you as required by the member account signup process and the payment process. You agree to keep the email address and phone number shown in your Account Settings current.

Your account contact information will not be published and is strictly for us to communicate with you about your account.

Providing any false account information is considered a violation of these terms of service.

You certify that you are at least 18 years of age, or that a parent or legal guardian is acting on your behalf.

Account name is your choice, provided your selected name is not already in use. Account names should be related to your research and/or family name. Accounts given vulgar, offensive, inappropriate or misleading names will be closed.

When you sign up for a ReunionFamilyCloud account, the account is opened for a free 30 day trial period. At any time during this trial period you may purchase additional year(s) of hosting time or allow the trial period to expire thus allowing your account to close.

Whether your account is in the free trial period or has paid hosting time remaining, you can close your account immediately by clicking the “Close this Account” button in the Account Settings window. You will not be refunded for any remaining hosting time on your account.

There is no automatic renewal. A credit card is not required to open an account and we will not keep your credit card information and automatically charge it. To keep your ReunionFamilyCloud account active, it is your responsibility to continue to pay for hosting time as it expires. This is done by clicking the “Renew Subscription” button in the Account Settings window. We will notify you via email when your ReunionFamilyCloud subscription is due and needs to be renewed.

You agree to publish only genealogical content created and uploaded from Reunion. Any published content that is not related to genealogy is outside the intended purpose of this service and is a violation of these terms of service.

Leister Productions, Inc. claims no ownership of any content you upload/publish on ReunionFamilyCloud. What you publish to your ReunionFamilyCloud website belongs solely to you and is your responsibility. Once your account is closed, any uploaded content will be deleted from the ReunionFamilyCloud servers.

If you publish any kind of work that belongs to a third party, you must have their permission before you publish it on your website.

If you publish information about living people, you must do at least one of the following...

• Have the permission of the living person to publish their information.
• Use Reunion’s Privacy Filter to remove sensitive information about living people.
• Require a user name and password to access your ReunionFamilyCloud website.
  (This is done from the Privacy tab in the Account Settings window.)

• A unique and custom URL for your website.
• Publishing of web content directly from within the Reunion app.
• Up to 500MB of static website hosting.
• Optional password protection of your website.
  (Configured in the Account Settings window under the Privacy tab.)

• PHP or any kind of server-side scripting.
• MySQL or any kind of database support.
• FTP access.
  All access is done from the ReunionFamilyCloud Manager window in the Reunion app.
• A custom domain name.
  The member name you select will be part of the ReunionFamilyCloud domain name.
• An email address.
  (You already have one and probably don’t need another.)

You may terminate this agreement by clicking the “Close this Account” button in the Account Settings window, notifying us in writing or by not renewing your hosting subscription thereby allowing it to expire.

We reserve the right to suspend or close without refund any account at any time should we feel that there’s a reasonable suspicion that it is being used in violation of any the terms in this agreement.

We reserve the right to modify these terms of service if we see that this hosting service is being misused in some way that we did not anticipate.
